Pre-Engineered Buildings Offer Many Advantages

Mitchell has been an independent authorized dealer of Oklahoma City-based Star Building Systems since 1994. A leading supplier of pre-engineered building systems, Star products are known for their quality, durability, and economy. Star systems help reduce interim financing costs through faster construction and minimized labor expense in the field. Earlier occupancy and a head start on day-to-day business operations are added benefits.

Across-the-Board Applications

Whether constructing multi-story buildings or those requiring large clear-span interiors, Star buildings represent a sound choice. A multitude of applications exist for the pre-engineered metal building concept. The more common? Offices, auto dealerships, churches, commercial and retail outlets, manufacturing plants, recreational facilities, shopping centers and warehouses. So imaginatively assembled are Star buildings that distinguishing them from traditional construction is virtually impossible.

Popularity Continues to Grow

Pre-engineered buildings have become so popular that they now account for more than 70 per cent of all non-residential, low-rise construction.

Variety of Styles and Configurations Available from Star

Star Building Systems are actually three systems in one. There’s a framing system, a roofing system and a wall enclosure system. These can be mixed and matched, providing a great deal of flexibility to architect and client. For example: Exterior walls can be partially constructed of masonry to go with an existing concrete block building. Glass, wood, stucco, brick, or stone can also be added for even greater visual appeal. The end result is a customized aesthetically pleasing structure built from the ground up.

Mitchell has many Star projects it points to with pride.
