Frederick L. (Rick) Mitchell, President and CEO
As team leader, Rick is responsible for all operations at Mitchell Architecture and Mitchell Construction, the two firms that comprise the Mitchell Group. He maintains and expands the firm’s impressive portfolio of clients while making sure that only first-class creative service and construction methods are employed to enhance the firm’s standing in a service area that extends well beyond Rochester.

Steven Fay, Building Field Operations Manager
With Mitchell since1984, Fay’s quarter-century of hands-on experience enables him to manage several projects simultaneously while ensuring complete client satisfaction. His interest in the field began in high school as a part-time worker for his father’s construction company. There he gained a working knowledge of finished carpentry, plumbing, drywall and electrical work.

Spencer Read, Project Manager
Spencer
joined Mitchell in 2005 as a project manager. He holds a bachelor's degree from New York State University at Alfred.
Spencer has served on the board of the Genesee County Habitat for Humanity and has almost a decade of construction experience. His
responsibilities include site and building design, building code
compliance, estimating.
Ellen Cuthbertson, Office Manager
Bringing over 20 years of office management experience to the firm, Ellen is in charge of all company accounting and record keeping requirements including job costing, accounts payable/receivable and taxes.
She also assists with human resource activities and is the company's safety co-coordinator. Ellen also handles all office documentation of the numerous projects from commencement to completion.
Thomas Yourch, Project Supervisor
Tom brings many years of hands-on experience in all phases of construction. His expertise in concrete/masonry and metal building technology has prepared him well for his current position as a project supervisor.
He is a graduate of Alfred State College of Technology where he majored in Building Technologies.
